Germany won Gold and Silver at the Leverkusen-Cup

For the 39th time the German  Turn-Club 72 Leverkusen invited to the traditional "International Leverkusen-Cup", in the Smidt ARENA. Seven teams from five nations performed superbly in front of 1,000 spectators. With a peak power an elected Team Germany I won with the three gymnasts Nadia Schulze (reigning German Junior Champion in 2013 at the beam, vault, bars), Michelle Timm and Amélie Foellinger with 103.40 points at this year's international traditional tournament "Leverkusen-Cup" and secured thus the coveted golden trophy.
Germany's Florine Harder dominated the field of participants with the 1st place on vault, uneven bars and floor exercises. However, at the balance beam she slips up several times and thus was forced to cede the individual victory to her teammate Nadja Schulze, who won with 51.30 points, just 0.10 points more in the individual standings. In the individual standings at the balance beam, the 32-year-old Lisa Mason from Great Britain, won with a flawless and high-profile exercise with distance (13,55 points).
