End of the Grand Prix Circuit 2009

After seven competitions of the 2009 Grand Prix Circuit the Final event will held at the end of November in the Max Schmeling Hall of Berlin,

- from November 27 - 29 the "BERLIN MASTER 2009".

After winning the Grand Prix all-around qualification on first day the Olympic Champion Evgenia KANAEVA won also all the four apparatus finals at Sunday.

<< The reining world Champion of Mie (JPN) started with a dynamic fire work with the rope and a got dream score of 29,066 points.
Unbeatable she were also in all the following three apparatus finals in the Max Schmeling Hall in Berlin ...

Kanaeva: total triumph to the third time tis year, after Moscow and Holon!

 
After the events in Moscow, Brno, Thiais, Kiev, Holon and Bourgos this year the 
7th Grand-Prix competition 2009 circuit of Rhythmic Gymnastics took place  from May 28 - 31 in Marbella, Spain.
After the predominant all-around victory the Russian Olympic champion Evgenia KANAEVA won also all the four final events of this Grand Prix in Marbella.
The Russian youngster and five-times winner of the Grand Prix in Bourgos some weeks before, Daria KONDAKOVA, ranked on second place in all-around and also with all apparatuses. 

After her third all-around postion Aliya YUSSUPOVA (KAZ) won bronze with hoop and ball, Melita STANIOUTA (BLR) with rope and Irina RISENSON with ribbon ...

After the events in Moscow, Brno, Thiais, Kiev and Holon this year the 6th Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics, took place from May 01 - 03 in Bourgos, Bulgaria. unfortunately to the same time like a rhythmic world cup of the FIG in Italy  ...(?!).

Olympic Champion Kanaeva unbeatable!

 
After the events in Moscow, Brno, Thiais and Kiev this year the 
5th Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics
took place  from April  23 - 26  in Holon, Israel..
High expactions the Israeli hosts have for the appearance of their world star Irina RISENZON at home, who ranked on third place on the topical Grand Prix Ranking Lists, with rope, ball and ribbon, directly behind the Russian stars Kanaeva and Sesina, but Evgenia KANAEVA won the all-around and all the apparatus finals at last...
A Junior groups competition tool also place in Holon, a good chance for a last international test before the Europeans in May ...

After the events in Moscow, Brno and Thiais this year the 
4th Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics, the traditional "DERIUGINA CUP 2009" took place from April  09 - 12 in Kiev, Ukraine.

The Ukrainian world champion (2007) and Olympic bronze medallist (2008) Anna BESSONOVA won the all-around competition with a score of 111,075, in front of Anna KONDAKOVA (RUS) and Irina RIZENSON (ISR) .

Bessonova won three of the four final events at Easter Sunday.

After the events in Moscow and Brno this year the  3rd Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics helds from March 26 - 30 in Thiais, France.
A Russian trio, led by Evgenia Kanaeva with best scores with all four apparatuses, and followed by Vera Sesina and Olga Kapranova, dominated the first day's all-around qualification in Thiais on Saturday evening.
The all-around groups competition was won by the girls from Bulgaria, followed by Spain and Japan.
Also all the final victories went to Russian gymnasts and to the Bulgarian group

After the first event in Moscow this year the 
2nd Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics
took place from March 14 - 15 in Brno, the metropole of Moravia (CZE).
Not unexpectedly a Russian quartet  was in front of the first day's all-around qualification, led  by the top favorite, 2008 Olympic Champion Evgenia KANAEVA, who won three of four apparauses and only Vera Sesina beat her teammate with the rope at the final day in Brno ...

All-around winner of the 1st Grand Prix' of  Rhythmic Gymnastics 2009 in Moscow was Evgenia Kanaeva (RUS; 112,725) in front of  her both teammates and world champions Vera Sessina (110,725) and Olga Kapranova (107,200).

Evgenia Kanaeva won all the Sunday's apparatus finals, followed by Very Sessina (rope, hoop and Ribbon) and Melitina Stanuta (BLR; ball)
