Winning three gold medals on trampoline on the final day of the "20th European Trampoline Championships 2006 the gymnasts from Russia once again were the most successful nation:
Six gold, six silver and one bronze medal - a very impressive collection of medals at these European Championships!
The British tumbling women's team won three gold medals so Great Britain is now on the second place of the overall medal ranking in front of such nations like Portugal, France, Germany and Ukraine. ..

British tumbling Team
Both British tumbling teams won the gold medals on the first decision day of the seniors at the "20th European Trampoline Championships" in Metz, France.
Germany defendet the men's team titel on trampoline while Ukraine won gold in the women's field. This is the very first European title in this disciplin for the Ukraine.
Russia's women's double mini tramp team won gold and the title in the men's field in this discipline went to Portugal.... ..

Today the qualifications of the seniors at the 20th Trampoline European Championships 2006 in Metz/ France will continue.
After yesterday's preliminaries of the two disciplines double mini tramp and tumbling today will follow the qualifying rounds of trampoline, from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. local time.
The first decisions at these European Championships will be made on Friday evening around 7.00 p.m local time with the team final in the 3 disciplines.
On Saturday will then follow the individual finals.... ..

The third and last day of the 18th European Junior Championships 2006 in Metz, France, finished at the Wednesday evening with the individual finals in all disciplines, in trampoline, double minitramp and tumbling.
Once again the best talents came from Russia, winning 7 gold medals, two golds went to Spain and each gold to Great Britain, Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia and France.
Surprisingly silver went in boys synchron category went to Switzerland, followed by Germany, but in front the Russian duo (photo, left)
Altogether 12 nations won one ore more medals....
On Thursday the senior championships will start in Metz... ..

From Monday, May 22 on the juniors qualification in the "Le ARENA" in Metz (FRA) is going on.
Today evening will celebrate the opening ceremony, but before took place the first decisions of the 18th European Junior Championships 2006: the team decision:
The boy's trampoline team of host France wins the first team title of these European Juniors Championships. The silver medal went to Belarus, Russian team won bronze....

In the last week of May the European Gymnastics Federation UEG celebrates at first the 18. European Junior Championships (May 22 - 24), follow by the 20. European Championships 2006 of Trampoline, Double Mintramp and Tumbling (May 25 - 27).
One of the highlights will be the finals of the Olympic individual "kings class" of trampoline coming Saturday...

The 15th anniversary of the INTERNATIONAL GRENZLAND CUP 2006 will held this weekend in Aachen, Germany.
The Denish Peter Jensen was the winner in men's category, followed by the German Markus Kubicka and world Champion Henrick Stehlik
