GRAND PRIX Bratislava: Last Competition of the 2008 Circuit

The traditional GRAND PRIX Bratislava will finish the serie of the European Grand Prix events of the Olympic Year 2008. The event will held in the Slovakian metropolis from November 07 to 09 and will be the eightth GP competition of Rhythmic Gymnastics this year.
After the seventh event in Berlin in October and after the stations before with Moscow, Thiais, Brno, Marbella, Burgos and Holon (- look also at the navigation, left).

Also at the final day in Bratislava Olga Kapranova (3 apparatuses; < photo, left) and Vera Sessina (rope)- both from Russia - dominated this last event of the this years Grand Prix crcuit, followed by Irina Rizenson, Israel and the Polish Joanna Mitrosz ...

Four times Russia's Olga Kapranova were the best gymnast at the first day's qualification: three times with the apparatuses but also in the all-around ranking.
With the rope only, she was beaten by her teammate Vera Sesina and Irina Rizenson from Israel were in all rankings on third place:
