Olympic Champion on Top!

After the first event in Moscow this year the
2nd Grand-Prix Competition 2009 of Rhythmic Gymnastics
took place from March 14 - 15 in Brno, the metropole of Moravia (CZE).
Not unexpectedly a Russian quartet was in front of the first day's all-around qualification, led by the top favorite, 2008 Olympic Champion Evgenia KANAEVA, who won three of four apparauses and only Vera Sesina beat her teammate with the rope at the final day in Brno ...

Grand Prix and "GiTy Cup in Brno:
For the 3rd time in history Grand Prix tournament, the elite competition of rhythmic gymnasts, will be held in the Czech Republic.
After the first in Moscow, the second competition of nine-piece series will take place on 14th and 15th March within the GiTy Cup in Brno.
First quality competition, which is also being attracted by eighteen thousand Euro award, will meet at the start of each competition. Iva Mendlíková from GiTy Brno will defend colors of the Czech Republic at Grand Prix series.
