| 10th BERLIN MASTERS 2010
- Max Schmeling Hall, 30th/31st of October -

The Olympic Champion from Beijing 2008 and 4-times winner last year in Berlin, as well as triple world champion in Moscow 2010, Evgenia Kanaeva, is actually the most outstanding gymnast and leads also all four ranking lists of the Grand-Prix-series 2010 that concludes this weekend at the Max-Schmeling-Hall.
But she’s not invincible, as her teammates Daria Kondakova and Daria Dmitrieva showed last September at the World Championships in Moscow, assuring themselves the gold medals winning with rope (Kondakova) and ribbon (Dmitrieva) in front of their home audience.
So, also in Berlin we expect a hard fight between these three top-stars – anything else than Russian victories would be a big surprise, also here in Berlin. Already in Moscow all gold and silver medals went to the Russian trio Kanaeva-Kondakova-Dmitrieva.
The strongest not-Russian gymnast should be the triple bronze medalist of the 2010 World Championships, Alija Garaeva from Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, Melitina Staniouta from Belarus, third at the individual all-around in Moscow, won’t compete in Berlin
