Update FIG World Ranking List Sports Aerobics

First places for Gregory Alcan (FRA) and Daniela Izabela Lacatus (ROM)

The International Gymnatisc Federation FIG has end February updates its World Ranking Lists in Sports Aerobics. Now as ever the World Champion of 2004 Gregory Alcan from France leads on with 332.43 points at the 'Men´s' clearly the field of 46 listed Aerobics athletes. At the 'Women´s' remains Daniela Izabela Lacatus from Romania, victor of the 2nd Worldcup Finals 2003, with 248.33 points also further at the tip of the 42 competitors.
Always to the year beginning, the total number of points is reduced by 30 %...

... to have a more active, up to date and meaningful World Ranking List.

On place 2 in Individual Men Jonatan Canada (ESP, 227.50) lies before the Vito Iaia ranking with clear interval (ITA, 96.29). Second in Women´s Individual with only 26 points interval is presently Giovanna Lecis (ITA, 222.53), third Ludmila Kovatcheva (BUL, 184.70).

In Mixed Pairs lead presently both Romanian Daniela Izabela Lacatus and Remus Nicolai with 268.63 points before the Bulgarian Marian Kolev and Galina Lazarova (257.67) as well as Tatiana Soloviova and Vladislav Oskner out of Russia (212.91).

The Trio category leads France (Alcan/Julien/ Severino) with 163.17 points on followed of Spain (145.43) and Bulgaria (127.64).<

Romanian team lies with 251.25 points in that Groups ahead, followed of Russia (173.50) and Spain (112.20).

An opportunity again international to gather World Ranking Points gives it in the first Weltcup tournament from this year from 18th to 20th March in Sofia (Bulgaria). In this tournament of the B category it gives 30 points for the 1st place, for the 2nd place 20 points and for the 3rd place 15 points.
