International Age Group Competitions (IAGC) closed
Russia finished the 17th International Age Group Competitions 2005" in Eindhoven (NED) absolutly best nation and won alltogether 33 medals, 15 golden, 11 silver and 7 bronze medals.
Also Brazil (2), Japan, Portugal, Ukraine, und Georgia ( for each 1) got gold medals and 23 nations of the 40 participating countries won medals.
More than 1.000 gilrs and boys were in action at the three competition days (trampoline ind.; trampoline synchron; double minitramp; tumbling.....

At the final day of the 24th Trampoline World Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands Russian team impressed with a fulminant finish, winning four gold medals:
So Irina Karavaeva, the first Olympic trampoline champion in history (Sydney 2000), won the title in the Olympic individuel discipline, but together with her teammate Natalia Chernova the gold medal in synchronizing.
World champion of the Olympic men's category was Alexander Russakov and the fourth golden medal got Anna Korobeynikowa (tumbling). So Russia with five golden and all together 10 medals was the most successfull nation again, but to the first time followed by China, winning 4 golds and one silver medal.... ..

Never before Chinese gymnasts dominated in such manner like at the today's team decisions at the 24th Trampolin World Championships in Eindhoven:
Gold with the men's and women's trampoline team and also with the men's tumbling team - so China is the most successful nation of the first decision day at these trampoline worlds!
Portugal (women) and Canada (men) won the double minitramp decisions, and after the third gold of Chinese male tumblers Russia captured it's first title in women's tumbling category.... ..

Today: The 24th Trampoline World Champs will continue with the last qualification rounds, followed by the team decisions at the evening...
Yesterday the 24th Trampoline World Championships 2005 started in Eindhoven (NED - the Ukrainian Olympic Champion from 2004,
Yuri Nikitin was one of the top favorites - but he crashed at the qualification round and came on 78 place, only...!
Five nations only from all the 40 countries are participating at all the four disciplines: (CAN, GBR, POR, RUS, AUS) , Canada, Great Britain und the USA came with the biggest delegations (32 athletes).

14-Sep-2005Eindhoven 24th World Championships Trampoline are opened
The 24th Trampoline World Championships 2005 were opened on Wednesday evening and will be held from Wednesday September 14 till Saturday September 24 in the Indoor Sports Arena of Eindhoven/Netherlands.
After the qualifying rounds on Thursday and Friday the first decisions wil be on Friday evening, the Team Finals, followed by the individual finals in at the men's and women's disciplines Olympic trampoline categories, synchronizing, double minitramp and tumbling.
From September 22 - 24 will follow the International Age Group Competitions.... ..
