Olympic medallist Leszek Blanik has won the first men’s all-around at the “St.A.Kolakowskich Memorial“ which took place on May 30th/ June 1st.
On ranks 2 and 3 followed the two Russian competitors from St. Petersburg Anton Lobanov and Nikolai Goukov.
Their young club mate Alexandra Vanina (yr. 89) narrowly won the women’s all-around, which had already been held as international tournament in previous years.

Today was held a 5-way International and World Championships Trials in Men’s Gymnastics between the world champin of 2001 Belarus, France (4th place in Ghent), Switzerland, Germany, and host Great Britain. The location was the Robin Park Sports Centre, Wigan.

The Czech pair Jana Komrskova and her partner in sports Martin Konecny was the winner of the SOKOL Grand Prix 2003 in the city of Brno (Czech Republic) last weekend.
With a sore of 18,612 points they won the final, afterwards the German Ren? Piephardt and his partner Silvia Stroescu from Romania - leading after the qualification round - made a mistake (pommelhorse) and came on third place at the end of the final (17,150).

The International Gymnastics Federation F.I.G. published the drawing of lots for the coming World Championships in Anaheim/USA coming August. This champs are also the qualification for the best 12 teams for the Olympic Games Athens 2004.
