Dragulescu tumbles best; Brasilian Diego Hypolito qualifies for the Final, 8th place- Surprise from Daniele’s  brother
1.Marian Dragulescu (ROM)- 9.712 (1st series Full twisting double straight punch front into front support; Finished with Full in Full out). Gervasio Deferr (ESP)- 9.650 (The same series as Dragulescu; Final- double twist whip to double twist). Yang Wei (CHN)- 9.625 (Double straight with double twist). Most unfortunate- Dmitry Karbanenko who missed to qualify for the Final by 0.062 (1st Reserve). 1996 Olympic Champion on Floor Alexei Nemov ended on the 12th position after series of small mistakes.

Pommels
The Pommels King Urzica handles the situation in style- the hierarchy still exists, but the difference between the Romanian and young Chinese Xiao Qui is narrowing.
