Montreal, March 3, 2000 - Cirque du Soleil is constantly scouting for new artistic and acrobatic talent. Holding auditions is one of Cirque du Soleils main means of recruiting artists and athletes for its shows.
Cirque du Soleil seeks artists from a variety of disciplines, including theatre, circus arts, dance, singing, and music, who dream of taking part in a magical experience and want to express their talent in a unique way. Cirque du Soleil is also looking for athletes specialized in such fields as acrobatics, gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, diving and synchronized swimming who may wish to take up new challenges and push back the limits of the possible.

Cirque du Soleils approximately 500 performers, who hail from some 30 different countries, have the opportunity to take up a unparalleled personal challenge. Each and every performer is key to the success of a Cirque du Soleil show. The quality of these individuals and the contrasts between them are the source of much of our magic. Cirque du Soleil is currently presenting eight shows in major cities around the world, and new projects are being developed.
