All-around European champion Philipp Boy made a mistake at the triple twist in his floor exercise (8th), Sebastian Krimmer placed 5th on pommel horse and Thomas Taranu had problems with the dismount in his rings exercise...
On the last day of these European championships French gymnasts Thomas BOUHAIL won on vault, German all-around champion Marcel NGUYEN won his first continental title ever on parallel bars and in a very close decision, Vice-worldchampion Epke ZONDERLAND with the most difficult exercise won ahead of the two Germans Philipp BOY and Marcel Nguyen ...

* Impressive rings final. Both Russian gymnasts convinced with great combinations of balance and strenght elements, as well as great technique at handstands.
Rodrigues (FRA) again with interesting "Malteser", this incredible element backward between the rings.., but alltogether not enough for a better ranking.
... the experienced ones, Morandi, van Gelder are strong, but they have difficulties with the new generation of gymnasts!
