Gold Number seven & eight for Russia in both group finals

The eight best groups from yesterday´s qualification competed today at the apparatus finals.

* Final with five hoops
In the first final, with five hoops, the Russian group won the gold medal scoring 27.975 points, only 0.100 points ahead of Italy (27.875 points).
The bronze medal went to the Bulgarian group that did a faultless, risky and well-choreographed routine that brought them 27.100 points and the first medal for the Bulgarian team at this year´s world championships.
Like yesterday, the Israeli group placed fourth, followed by the German gymnasts on a fantastic fifth rank, followed by Japan, Belarus and Azerbaijan.
The girls from Belarus had bad luck in their hoop routine- a hoop went out of the carpet after a catch and destroyed their medal hopes.

With this last final, all medal decisions had been taken in Moscow, but the championship wasn´t finished yet.
It concluded with the closing ceremony and a big gala with the world´s best gymnasts from today, yesterday and tomorrow.
Like at the opening ceremony, former gymnasts, e.g. 2005 world champion Olga Kapranova, participated showing gala exercises together with Russia´s new talents.
