can maybe boost his confidence for the next four rotations.
Italian rings specialist Igor Cassina is disappointing
                on his forte.
Ioan Suciu (photo) lives up the his reputation on
vault. His 9,637 for a Tsukahara with 2 ½ twists is the highest scoe to date.
Roman Schweizer (SUI) nails his Tsukahara double pike
                for a 9,475.
Leon Tamayo has no real dismount on his pommel horse

After some minor hicups in the beginning, Leon Tamayo

                The judges award him 9,562.
Kwiatkowski just about holds on to his full-twisting

Leon Tamayo (CUB) lands his Cuervo with 1 ½ twists well
                (9,55).

                Roman Zozulia (UKR)
uses his experience to get him through his high bar routine which is a little
                struggled.
Sven Kwiatkowski (GER) puts in his best effort so far
with a very smooth perfornance on pommels horse. His score is a well deserved 9,337.
Three different Kovacs by Igor Cassina (ITA) finally
get the audience going. 9,437 means that he moves up a little in the standings.
Suciu (ROM) has a fantastic routine floor which he
                scores 9,425 for.
Mikhailichenko, who has been in the lead until now,
will drop a few places after falling on a full-twisting Kovacs.
<<< Leon Tamayo (CUB) is the last gymnast of
this rotation who shows some original elements on bars like a double front dismount. His
9,337 moves him up to third place.     |

                Sven Kwiatkowski
finishes his championships on his weakest apparatus, rings, where he scores only
                8,375.
Matteo Morandi (ITA) gives an impressive display of
                strength on rings.- 9,625.
Ioan Suciu is a tad better with a beautiful pommel
                horse routine with clean technique.
Mounard has small breaks on high bar which result in
his second score in the eights.
Roman Zozulia is messy, but spectacular on floor with
a double layout dismount and goes into the lead. He is at least able to combat some of is
                damaged image with 54,94.
Leon Tamayo falls from hugh bar and in the
                ranking.
Liu Jinyu misses his chance for a better ranking with
                a fall from pommel horse.
Victor Cano cant do any better on high bar.

            Conclusion:
There are a lot of falls in the first group of the AA. The only gymnasts to
really improve on their performance in prelims are Sven Kwiatkowski (GER) and Roman
Zozulia (UKR). Spains Victor Cano and Frances Florent Maree were
            disappointing.
