FIG Office, September 9, 2009: The FIG has informed the Georgian delegation that the 2 gymnasts Martina Grozeva and Romina Bozheloba cannot be allowed to participate under the Georgian flag at the World Championships and ....
FIG Office, September 9, 2009: The FIG has informed the Georgian delegation that the 2 gymnasts Martina Grozeva and Romina Bozheloba cannot be allowed to participate under the Georgian flag at the World Championships and ....
... at any international event, as long as the FIG Executive Committee has not made a formal decision about the change of nationality. This decision can be taken at the next meeting September 24, 2009, in Lausanne (SUI).
On the other hand, the FIG agrees to exceptionally let the Georgian group participate at the event in Mie out of competition.
It is understood that the Georgian group will start first every time and that the results will neither be shown on the screen nor in the ranking list. The group will also not appear on the start list. However, their performances will be judged and the RG TC President Mrs. Maria Sszyszkowska will give the score to the Georgian delegation.
