Am  Reck begeisterte wieder einmal der junge Fabian Hambüchen das Publikum. Mit einer sehr guten Übung übernahm er die Führung in der Qualifikation und hat alle Chancen, den Titel im morgigen Finale zu gewinnen. Auf Platz 2 folgt Christoph Schärer aus der Schweiz, Isao Yoneda aus Japan belegt Rang 3. Der Cottbusser Robert Juckel zeigte auch eine solide Leistung, verpasste jedoch als 11 das morgige Finale.

 

The young Fabian Hambüchen from Germany took the lead on high bar with a thrilling routine. Switzerland’s Christoph Schärer follows on rank 2, Japan’s high- bar star Isao Yoneda took the 3rd rank in this qualification. Due to live TV- transmission the high- bar finale in Cottbus will already be competed on Saturday.
