In 2008 participated 111 male gymnasts, representing 38 different
nations.It's an alarming fact, that 70 of them started at one (26) or
two (44) apparatuses, only!!
Eight gymnasts from 7 countries used four apparatuses
and only one made a complete all-around competion:
So the inoffical all-around champion of Cottbus is
- the odest participant - Espen JANSEN from Norway !! Congratulation!
The world cup reglemet needs a change imperiously

gymnasts from 23 took part at the Cottbus world cup,
but 4 gymnasts only started at the complete all-around, 11 gymnasts
used three,
36 gymnast started at two and 8 gymnasts on one apparatus, only.
It is not in the interest of the versatilely
character of modern gymnastics!!
