| The World Champions of the four
categories in the 4th World Championship in Aerobics come from four nations: Jonathan Canada (ESP / Individual Men), Tatiana Soloviova / Vladislav Oskner (RUS / Mixed Pair), Yuriko Ito (JPN / Individual Women) and Attila and Tamas Katus and Romeo Szentgyorgy (HUN / Trio). A very small difference (0,250 points) was between Ito and the Vice-World Champion Isamara Secati (BRA). Also the German team had a big success: Janka Daubner / Chris Harvey got the 6th place, Janka was the 9th in the Individual Competition. die Weltmeister der 4. Aerobic-Weltmeisterschaften d er FIG in Catania kommen aus vier Ländern: Jonathan Canada (ESP / Individuel Men), Tatjana Solowjowa / Wladislaw Oskner (RUS / Mixed Pair), Yuriko Ito (JPN / Individual Women) und Attila und Tamas Katus und Romeo Szentgyorgy (HUN / Trio). Die knappste Entscheidung gab es bei den Damen - der Vorsprung von Ito zur Zweiten, Isamara Secati aus Brasilien, betrug nur 0,25 Punkte. Das deutsche Team erzielte das bisher beste WM-Ergebnis: Janka Daubner / Chris Harvey wurden 6., Janka im Einzel 9. und das Trio Jana Heinze/Sandra Schlüter/Marie-Catherine Bösa (SV Halle) 7. der WM.
