Few hours after the opening event on sunday evening in the jumbo mall the city administration of Maspalomas invited to a common press conference with the BLUME Organisationcomitee in the "Casa Coldan", a historical building of Maspalomas.
The head of Blume Festival Jesus TELO, the sports manager Carlo Àlamo, the cultural manager Blas RAMÒS and the head of the health department Benito PÈREZ von San Bartolomè de Tirajana welcomed the representatives of the nations of Japan, Sweden and Germany.

In the light of the 50th jubilee of the sportsfestival BLUME GRAN CANARIA
Jesus Telo thanked the local representatives for the permanent and long-standing partnership and support.
Sports manager Carlos Àlamo confirmed the support, in spite of limited resources, because Blume is an important event for the municipality and they feel part of the festival.
Sen. Blas Ramòs asked the participants to propagate the Blume festival worldwide, because this event is also an important factor for the tourism.
