Sunday: BLUME-Festival, Opening Gala - lively, folksy, colorful!

It was, as it is always: Happy Faces expectancy, bus direction Corso to the Jumbo shopping center of Maspalomas and hundreds of contributors organized before the opening gala evening of the 51st BLUME Gran Canaria Festival 2011, a tingling feeling, as one usually reserved for large knows gymnastics and sports celebrations.

BLUME-Ambassador Ronny Ziesmer brought greetings from the artistic gymnastics team from Germany and especially from the all-around Vice-world champion Philipp Boy.

As a special guest of the Spanish BLUME-Festival organizers gave a special invitation to Ronny Ziesmer, who had an accident in times of preparation of the 2004 Olympic Games and so it was his personally international journey in an wheel-chair, when Ronny visited the 2005 Blume Festival.
 Since then, the now 31-year-old former world class gymnast  also acts as a "BLUME-ambassador", and reported with its many international contacts from the special value of this tradition.
Now he returned again to the island of eternal spring!
