Right at the beginning of the 56th BLUME FESTIVAL Gran Canaria 2016 the rhythmic gymnasts are the first kind of gymnastics disciplines to show their aesthetic signs: For the fourth time the BLUME organizers also invited to international GYM competitions and this time over 300 athletes from six nations came.
The rhythmic sports gymnasts, starting from 10 o'clock on with individual competitions and in the afternoon with the groups contests, are the BLUME Festival prelude today in the island capital of Las Palmas.
The individual competition was dominated primarily by a dominant trio, at the top of which the experienced German gymnast Laure MARX (24) just before the strong Swedish Cassandra Peterson and before Nicole Bergmann (GER / SKC Tabea Halle).
To the very first time the BLUME Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup 2016 took place in the most modern venue of Spain, in the "Gran Canaria ARENA" in the capital Las Palmas, which was opened 2014 by the Worlds of Baketball for 67 Million Euro costs.

Laure Marx (GER) |
In the international roster of individual competition, the German gymnast Laure Marx (SKC TaBeA Halle) undoubtedly has the greatest and long-standing experience. The former captain of the German national group and fifth placed at the German individual national championships (2014) also has a huge shower experience. But the fact that she is once again in an international competition in the individual competition is already surprising!
The group competition in the afternoon saw two German clubs at the start:
On the one hand, the title defending champion SKC TaBeA Halle, who played his sporty superiority with the club exercise in the junior team and won sovereignly in front of the German group of "Sportfreunde Höhr-Grenzhausen".
Winning German juniors group SKC TaBeA Halle (GER), with (from left) Anna Wolf (Paderborn), Daria Bergmann, Nicole Luschik (- beide Halle) and the twins Daria and Sophie Volodin (Mersburg).
