Happy kids and teens! |
From the very beginning on it has been part of the BLUME festival tradition of making offers for people with disabilities and effectively cultivating contacts in everyday life! So also the international guests and groups, such as the ladies of the club "Ariadne" from St. Petersburg (Russia), visited the disabled facilities "Ciudad San Juan de Dios" of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria again this year.
This special school - located on the mountains around Las Palmas, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean - is equipped with various departments for children and teens with partly severe disabilities, but also for special rehabilitation programs of young people with temporary residence ...
The visit to the disabled school in Las Palmas was a matter of the heart to the Russian ladies of the ARIADNE association from St. Petersburg.
The school management is very grateful to the BLUME organizers, as such contacts not only add enormously to the day-to-day life of the wards, but also encourage them to teach in their own little dance or gymnastics programs, which they can then show off to the guests with pride.
Therefore, the dance group "ARIADNE" (- photo, above) from the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, which was once a guest at the Blume Festival five years ago (2013), received a lot of applause.
Another group from Moldova was so excited about this visit and promised by her coach to even come over for anext performance ...:
The most beautiful part of this event was not just the demonstrations or the sporting activities, but the many happy faces of all those involved in this special, emotional flower day at "Ciudad San Juan de Dios", even for those who consider the programs to be Viewers could watch!
