The Corona Crisis and ... an "intermediate BLUME FESTIVAL 2021"

The 60th International Festival BLUME GRAN CANARIA, which was traditionally supposed to take place from November 27th to December 3rd, 2020, was canceled and was initially canceled in late summer for 2021 due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19.
The global situation of the pandemic already made it impossible in 2020 to celebrate the BLUME GRAN CANARIA FESTIVAL with the necessary hygiene guarantees, as well as the necessary organization and logistics.

♦  How it for instance could also be seen in the Olympic history in the example of 1906, where there were occasional "interludes" due to crisis conditions in Europe and also in Greece itself, which later led to the non-recognition in the numerical order of this event ... at least that's how they reacted now the Canarian BLUME organizers were also prominent and full of ideas, when they registered the surprising registration of around 100 tireless gymnastics friends of the Danish Gymnastics Federation (DGI): And so they put on an "improvised festival program for two days", namely on December 1 & 2, which anyone interested from all over the world can now follow online via LIVESTREAM in order to get the right desire for the BLUME visit and the 60 next year, the right 60th anniversary in 2022 !

These efforts to attract thousands of athletes to Gran Canaria to take part in the BLUME GRAN CANARIA FESTIVAL are thanks to the support of the sports institutions of Gran Canaria, including the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the government of the Canary Islands and the municipalities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Telde, Arucas, Agüimes, Santa Brígida, Mogán and Ingenio The event also contributes to the fact that Maspalomas continues to occupy an exemplary position among the international tourist communities with this compromise proposal to also offer gymnastics in Europe during the winter period.
We would be very happy if many friends of gymnastics and sports will combine their longing for the sea, the nature and the sun and visit us for the 60th anniversary of the FESTIVALBLUME GRAN CANARIA, which we are planning for the period from 2022 November 26th to December 3rd!
