For over a decade, the BLUME-FESTIVAL has also been organising international competitions, which are particularly popular with young athletes from the Canary Islands and international participants.
* On Saturday (November 30), the 12th International BLUME TeamGym Cup competition will be held in the sports hall of the island's capital.
* The 10th International Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup 2024 will take place in the ‘Jesus Telo" Sports Hall:

* * The venue for the jubilee competition in Las Palmas
was the multi-purpose sports hall named after its founder, Jesus Telo Nunez:
The Catalan organisers were delighted with the participation of young gymnasts from four nations:
The local hosts were joined by groups from Denmark, France, the Cape Verde Islands..
Even if the competitors had to put up with a longer journey due to roadworks with their extensive hand apparatus luggage, like the French women ( - look at the picture on the right >):
At best, they took this as their first ‘active warm-up’ before their long and intensive day of competition.

<< The gymnasts from Denmark made a particularly strong impression in terms of sport and content, shining with good technique, style and expression.
Naja Bisgaard from the club ‘Hjerting IF’ was particularly impressive in her age category, winning both the competition with the ball (< photo, left) and with the hoop.
Her club colleague Emilia Sophia Seistrup also celebrated further Danish successes in the younger age category with the hand apparatus ball.

A cheerful group of young gymnasts came from the Cape Verde Islands, who also had a lot of fun with the Spanish hosts on the sidelines of the competitions.
But that's not all: they also impressed in terms of performance, winning four of the different categories, ..

The Canarian gymnasts were also enthusiastic, just as rhythmic gymnastics is highly developed in Spain, and the Canary Islands have a dedicated coach in Fabiola RODRIGUEZ from the Club de Gimnasio Ritmica de Santa Brigida. who also acted as the main judge in the competition and was satisfied with her girls:
