Significantly host China (230.753), which although on the uneven bars almost extraterrestrial shined, but on vault and floor below the level of the Americans remained well.
Russia is ranked behind on third (228.135) and certainly will play a role,in the three medal fight - if the Russians in the Team Finals (Wednesday) succeed stable uneven bars exercises than today ...!.
Are currently in "view" for a medal (?) British women ranked 4 (224.596), while behind Italy (222.459) and Japan (221.360) probably not trust a team for a medal.
However, a negative surprise experienced top nation Romania, in particular through a formal disaster on uneven bars they fell back to 7th place (219.261). Whether they can make forget their well-known bullion weakness on the final day again, remains to be seen. Only her current star Larisa Iordache reminiscent of former Romanian heydays andshe is located in the all-around on a hopeful third place. In front of her, though, appears in the all-around final again leading the defending champion Simone Biles (59.599) with Russia's star Aliya Mustafina (58.874) to want to compete for the championship crown.

♦ DAY 2, Women's Qualifying

(> STARTLIST SUBDIVISION 7 - 12)
Before the second women's qualifying day there was a clear leadership and dominance of the USA gymnasts, led by defending champion Simone Biles followed by Russia (with his star Aliya Mustafina).
On the second day was definitely expected the attack of the Chinese hosts, and was curious what role this time the Romanians would play in the top region, and whether even Great Britain can bring medal close
In the Monday morning starting group (9.00 am) German ladies had to go at the apparatus ... :

Desired work product of the Germans: Rank 8 so that entry into the team finals!
How close are desire and reality today imposing other after a performance wearer (Elisabeth Seitz) is not fully operational, another (Janine Berger) injured had to stay at home, and another "points" - and prestige-bringer, Oksana Chusovitina has changed again the national flag (back to UZB) ...?
An the end, Germany had to copewith 6 crashsand falls out of the group of the top 8 nations. The best gymnast Lisa-Katharina Hill reached the all-around final (17th), but in the apparatus finals is no German gymnast this year...!

In fact, the Chinese women, primarily designed an awesome uneven bars passage (60.890): +1.2 points better than Russia and +2 points more than the United States! A triple top shined with the highest difficulty levels: 2x 6.9, 1x 6.8 of YAO, Jinnan (15.666), HUANG, Huidan (15.333) and TAN, Jiaxin (15.333) were also dominated virtuosity.
* GYM v i d e o --- : YAO, Jinnan (CHN) - Top scorer at the uneven bars:
As ecpected, also at the balance beam China was the best country, although the peak was not cracked here the previous day by Simone Biles (15.133), but: Three Chinese women follow their ranking close to. However, then lost the consistently elegant girls on vault and floor one: At the vault they do not even attempted only to reach the final - no gymnast completed a second vault - and also their best on the floor exercises (SHANG, Chunsong: 13.399) scars here, though just barely at the finals over, but this is the second best of the Chinese still well in the all-around (7 / 57.123). For holding YAO, Jinnan (58.032) as currently third in the all-around "visual contact" to the two in front of her lying rivals, Biles (USA-59.599) and Mustafina (RUS - 58.874) ... SUBDIVISION 10: (ROU, VEN, AUT, GBR)
A with high voltage expected subdivision !
What can the lately something "sagging" Romanians, and above all, how is the European nation climber of the last decade, as is the British women on it ..?
- GREAT BRITAIN's Ruby Harrold led the way for the team competing on all four apparatus and scoring 56.766 points which also sees her into Friday’s all-around final qualifying in 8th along with teammate Claudia Fragapane who scored 55.999 for 12th safely in to the top 24 finals.
* GYM v i d e o --: Ruby HARROLD (GBR) on floor :
- Claudia Fragapane - the star of the Commonwealth Games this summer - also progressed through to vault and the floor finals taking place at the weekend, her scores of 14.716 and 14.400 progressing her through.
- Becky Downie, European and Commonwealth Games bars championagain, showed her exceptional skills on the bars to score 15.166 and progress through to the final where she will aim to be amongst the medals. Ruby Harrold will join Becky in the final after her unique and exciting bars routine impressed the judges scoring her 14.733.
- Hannah Whelan and debutants Kelly Simm and Gabby Jupp who made a welcome return to the GBR team after injury, provided the consistency and control the team needed with solid performances to ensure the team progressed to the final.
Claudia Fragapane was delighted with her World Championship debut saying: “It definitely felt different today, lots more pressure and attention. The energy you get from the crowd and also your teammates is very special. There was a real focus on us competing together as a team and getting through to the final and we’ve done that job. I’m really happy to have made the floor and vault finals but the first thought is the team - I can think about individuals later in the week. It was amazing to perform with the girls today and we can’t wait for the final.”
Becky Downie echoed Claudia saying: “We did our job today. We were very well prepared and had great support to get us here. Me and Hannah have more experience so took on the role of leading the team which I really enjoyed, all the girls were great today and we can offer even more in the final. On bars I was a little nervous but the experience of winning the Europeans and Commonwealths this year has definitely helped me in big events as I know I can do it. There are a couple of things I can tweak for the final so who knows what might happen”
** Needing to be in the top eight nations, the GBR team (Hannah Whelan, Becky Downie, Ruby Harrold and World debutantes Kelly Simm, Gabby Jupp and Claudia Fragapane) scored a total of 224.596 points to place 4th the after the two day qualification competition.
The Romanians on vault could still to some extent compete (- third best behind USA and Russia with 58.565 points) and were thus before the British women and against China, then carried the dramatic crash on uneven: only 49.499 points! DC 20 nations were better than the gefrusteten Romanians on this device ...! Only their currently only top gymnast Larisa IORDACHE is reasonably through - despite 6.0 difficulty only 13.322 second best Romanian, but not among the 50 best bars exercises. But then she shined with the highest score of the day on beam (15.066) second placed behind Biles (USA), but before two Chineses. At the floor she also conjures up, but can not get with 14.933 on the 15-point limit, which also had only exceded Simone BILES from her.
* GYM v i d e o --: Larisa IORDACHE (ROU) second placed on floor:
Mykayla SKINNER and Italy's long-running Vanessa FERRARI lie behind with medal hopes! With only one top gymnast and only with beam and floor Romania could not improve its reputation as a leading nation today. Twoand a half points ahead of Germany they saved just rank seven.
But Britain: With a consistently balanced team between 58'er- (vault) and 54'er apparatus votes British women held at least "visual contact" (-4 points difference) to the leading trio USA-CHINA-RUSSIA and occupy fourth in this qualification. Ruby HARROLD (56.766) are available in the all-around final at the Top Ten and also FRAGAPANE (55.999). FRAGAPANE (vault and floor) and DOWNIE (bars) expected to reach the apparatus finals ...

But what can the Australians, so the focus in Europe are not always in the course of the year, but where has long been more than solid, internationally recognized training work is done: Except on vault they achieve better team results on uneven bars, balance beam and floor. Although this time they have no proven elite athlete on the team - only Georgia Brown reached just as 22nd (45.698) the final, and Larissa Miller is in the floor final (8th), and first reserve of the bars finals - pull the Aussies as Team No. 8 with more than two points difference over and displaced gymnastics team Germany in the team final, that just as well as at least one, two crashes had done too much ...!
