"... captivated by ideas! |
‘... enough is enough!’ - said long-time BLUME lecturer Christiane Kleinke-Schaedler, who was bid farewell by the course participants in an amusing way just a few days before her 80th birthday: Countless times and always bubbling over with quirky ideas, the sports and gymnastics teacher from Osnabrück had transformed everyday objects into imaginative movement exercises to actually get everyday life moving with a lot of fun and pleasure.
<< And funnily enough, she was presented with just such objects when she said goodbye to her many years of creative lecturing at the Flower Festival. ‘Thank you Christiane ...!’

A little more needs to be said about this woman:
Not only in Osnabrück, where she has been in demand for almost half a century as a sports teacher, dance teacher and lecturer at the Melle State Sports School, at countless teacher training and further training courses, at exercise instructor courses, but also abroad and has always been ‘passionate and committed’. The sought-after speaker has travelled to courses in Chile, Japan and Switzerland and has also shaped the BLUME Festival on Gran Canaria many times.
... here in action with one of her exercise ideas.
In October 1975 already, Christiane founded the 1st jazz dance group in the Osnabrück Gymnastics Association, which emerged from the former rhythmic gymnastics competition group. The group, which at times was up to 35 ‘girls’ strong, immediately began to train for performances and competitions in the field of ‘gymnastics with hand apparatus and dance’ and regularly took part in district and state championships with a ‘subscription’ to first place.
* From 1983, the group travelled to German gymnastics festivals, where they always came 2nd. The group also made major appearances at the GYMNAESTRADA in Dornbirn (2007) and Lausanne (2011).
Her inexhaustible creative influences as co-choreographer for large-scale images at national gymnastics festivals, German gymnastics festivals and world gymnastics competitions are also fondly remembered.

This is worth remembering, especially in the week of the ‘International Day of Volunteering’, because Christiane, like so many others, has done an incredible amount of work for the benefit of health and the community, not just at the Blume Festival - and at the final Boul-Petanca tournament here on the island, she was also one of the winners!
