3rd 2011 FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup B

fig-press--: Aerobic gymnasts from Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan itself will compete at the Suzuki World Cup 2011, the discipline’s ultimate World Cup competition of the year, in Hamamatsu (JPN) on June 4 – 5.
The event, originally scheduled to take place in April at the Metropolitan Gymnasium of Sendagaya, Tokyo, was postponed and relocated to the ACT CITY venue in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, due to the unstable situation at the nuclear power station of Fukushima (JPN) and the unknown repercussions for the population at that time.

About 2011 FIG World Cup Series in Aerobic Gymnastics

The 2011 FIG World Cup Series in Aerobic Gymnastics includes three category B events, all of which will feature Qualifications and Finals in Men’s and Women’s Individuals, Mixed Pairs, Trios and Groups.

The competitions are scheduled for
> 2011 February 26 – 27 in Aix-les-Bains (FRA), and
> 2011, May 14 – 15 in Borovets (BUL) and now
> June 4 – 5 in Hamamatsu (JPN).
( - July 22 - 23 in Las Vegas - cancelled!)

Participation is limited
to two gymnasts, pairs or groups per country in each category. The top eight gymnasts per category from the Qualifications proceed to the Finals. In addition, should the host country fail to qualify in all categories, it may nominate one participant for a single category of its choice.

The world ranking points collected by the competitors during the circuit will add up to a total, with the top scorers in each discipline being crowned the winners of the overall series.
