F.I.G.: 1st International Age Group Competition in Sofia

Next weekend in 'Winter Palace of Sport' in Sofia (Bulgaria) take place the '1st FIG-International Age Group Competition' for the new aerobic-generation and future champions who will win the top places in Sports Aerobics. This competition means a great chance for international young aerobics talents. Seven days the 8th World Championships bevore expected in the Age Group participants more then 20 nations.

Competitions take place in the Age Group 1 (12-14 years old) and Age Group 2 (15-17 years old) and in five Categories 'Individual Women', 'Individual Men', 'Mixed Pair', 'Trio' and 'Groups'. The new rules are something simple then the rules from adults.

After a few german qualification rounds from german national team take place Juliane Zosel in Age Group 1 and Denise Zacher and a german group in Age Group 2.

'This competitions are a great challange and a great chance for our young aerobic-talents', says Michael Grabitz from TC Sports Aerobics from german. 'All participants are beginner. We have in contrast to other nations a highly efficient aerobic-youth with a resolutely training.'
