50. BLUME GRAN CANARIA FESTIVAL 2010 finished ...:Big Anniversary honouring a great Spanish Athlete ...

The lethally plane crash of the Spanish-German Joaquín BLUME in April 1959 is a sad fact in the history of gymnastics. The hero of the second European Championships in Paris 1957 – winning four titles beside Jack Günthard (SUI) and Juri Titow (URS). The festival with a special aim was named after the celebrated Spanish national hero after the tragically accident:
