In the 25th anniversary of the AEROBIC competition discipline, the 15th AEROBIC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018 take place in Guimarães, Portugal.
From June 01 to 03, more than 280 athletes from 35 different nations are expected in the historically first and former Portuguese capital. The strongest delegation is coming from Russia (20), followed by China and Spain, each with 18 athletes. From 22 to 24 September Europe’s best Aerobics athletes will gather in Ancona, Italy, for the 10th European Championships. Both juniors (15 to 17 years old) and elite gymnasts (18+) will battle for the continental titles. Juniors will compete in Individual Women, Individual Men, Mixed Pairs, Trios and Group. Seniors also add Aero Dance and Aero Step to their programme.

Nineteen year old Ana Maria STOILOVA, a 2016 World Championships finalist in the Mixed Pair category, was awarded the Maria Mineva trophy at the 7th Plovdiv Cup Aerobic Open 2016 in her native city of Plovdiv (BUL) last week. Stoilova, who won in the senior Individual Women’s category, became the second recipient of the trophy by scoring 20.300 points in qualification and 21.250 in the final for a total of 41.550.
