US Sports Acrobatics: No International Travel be permitted...

USA Acrobatics - no international travel

Carisa Laughon, the Program Director of Sports Acrobatics (USA Gymnastics) informs, that the United States will not be sending a delegation to this year’s Acro Cup Albershausen (at the end of April). 'With the uncertain world situation and possible war, our athletes are hesitant to travel outside of the country. In addition, our federation’s President has instructed that no international travel be permitted at all if war begins with Iraq', so Carisa Laughon wrote.


... last weekend the number of signatures of German sportsmen 'against war in Iraq or anywhere in the world' (PEACE APPEAL) jumped over the border 0f 1,500 (!!) - among of them 80 Olympic champions and more than 650 World, European or national champions from 34 different disciplines.
