The International Wheel Gymnastics Association (IRV) announced, that the best four teams from the 2018 World Championships (Magglingen/SUI) will meet 2019, April 21 in Akita, in the North of Japan to determine the best Gym Wheel Team in the world. Teams from Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Japan have qualified for the 2019 Team World Cup in Akita. It will be the first international Wheel Gymnastics competition in Japan ever ...!

For the third time, Switzerland hosted a World Championship of Wheel Gymnastics..
After 2001 in Liestal and 2009 in Baar, the 2018 the 13th  Wheel Worlds 2018 took place place from 6 to 13 May in Magglingen.

Every two years between the World Championships, the International Wheel Gymnastics Fedration (IRV) invites the top four nations of the world to a match over 6 rounds, in which the teams once each can put a joker.
This year the 7th TEAM WORLD CUP of WHEEL GYMNASTICS took place in the German capital Berlin, in the wellknown venue "Tempodrom".
So far, the top nation Germany was always the winner of this Cup in history, since 2002. But...
