The Russian press reports, that around 200 teenagers have gathered in the centre of Moscow for morning exercise lst weekend.
The idea came from the "Mishki Youth Movement".
The goal of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among the young and support the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. It was attended by members of the Russian parliament and former athletes including State Duma Deputy Speaker  and Olympic medallist gymnasts Alina Kabayeva and Svetlana Khorkina...

The cities of Duisburg and Düsseldorf want to host the World Games 2013 together! Yesterday, Adolf Sauerland, mayor of Duisburg, and Düsseldorf's mayor Joachim Erwin presented their plans for the application for the World Games of the non-Olympic disciplines. 47 th BLUME Anniversary - a new big Success!
For more than one week the "International Gymnastics Festival 50+" (IGF 50+)-  followed by the  "47th BLUME GRAN CANARIA FESTIVAL with altogether 7.000 participants dominates the fascinating "Island of eternal Spring" with a lot of shows, workshops and events, full of happiness and joyfulness.
Specially the "IGF 50+" was a successfully dress rehearsal for next year's  "1st GOLDEN AGE GYM FESTIVAL 2008" of the European Gymnastics Union (UEG).
