♦♦ - f i g - report -: Ivan Litvinovich, the reigning Olympic champion in Men’s Trampoline, is one of four veterans to carry off a World Cup series title in 2025.
The others are Synchronised Pairs Sophiane Methot & Sarah Milette (CAN) and Danil Mussabayev & Nikita Tumakov (KAZ), reigning World Double Mini-trampoline (DMT) champion Ruben Padilla (USA), and World Games DMT champion Diana Gago (POR).

The other five titles went to newcomers or relative newcomers, many of whom are expected to challenge for the podiums at next month’s World Championships in Pamplona (ESP).
They include rising Tumbling stars Tofig Aliyev (AZE) and Aleksandra Liamina (AIN), Trampolinist Sofiia Aliaeva (AIN), and Mixed Synchro pair Hristina Peneva & Kaloyan Petrov (BUL).

* Balances -: The World Cup series titles honor gymnasts 2025 with the best overall performances over the entirety of the eight-month international competition season. Depending on how they place at World Cup events in the six-leg series from February to October, the top 30 competitors at each event earn between 1 and 60 World Cup series ranking points. The sum of points from their best four performances are added up to give a total. The gymnasts with the highest total in each category were declared series champions at the close of competition in Antibes (FRA) 5 October.

4th  FIG-WORD CUP 2025:  Cottbus / GER  (Sep 20/21)

♦♦ Six weeks before the Trampoline World Championships (Pamplona/ESP) and one year after last year's World Cup premiere as the final Olympic qualification event before Paris, a Trampoline World Cup is once again being held in the German Lusatian metropolis Cottbus. This will also see the premiere of mixed pairs in synchronised gymnastics, which are also being advertised for the World Championships for the first time.
Olympic champion Bryony Page (GBR), 2024 Olympic bronze medallist Sophiane Methot (CAN), and reigning Men’s Synchronised World champions Fabian Vogel & Caio Lauxtermann (GER) are the big draws at this weekend’s World Cup in Cottbus (GER) 20-21 September. Stars they are, but none was able to mount the top step of the podium at last month’s World Games in Chengdu (CHN), where the dramatic Synchronised Trampoline competition stunned viewers with its reversals of fortune.

* Sep 21 - FINAL DAY 2

* TRA-MEN's FINAL:
The surprise winner in the men's competition was Germany's Matthias SCHULDT, (* Photo, left, with his coach Joerg Hohenstein) who had already broken the 60-point barrier twice in the two qualifying rounds and registered a new "German score record!).
In the men's TRA final, he once again achieved a high score of 60.61, leaving Maxim DIDENKO (RUS; 60.19) and also Magsud MAHSODOV from Azerbaijan (60.09) behind him. The co-favourites Barkov (KAZ), Britain's Perzamanos and Canada's Gavin Dodd were unable to complete their routines.

♦ TRA-WOMEN's FINAL: - Sofia ALIEVA (58.08) celebrated a Russian double victory under a so-called ‘neutral flag’ (AIN) ahead of her compatriot Anzhela BLADTCEVA (57.99) with the two most difficult programmes in the final competition. They beat Olympic champion Bryony PAGE (GBR), who offered the same level of difficulty as Bladtceva (D=15.5), but was unable to threaten the leading duo due to her slightly shorter flight time.
