2nd TRAMPOLINE WORLD CUP 2026
* Alkmaar / NED; 12. - 13. März
Trampoline gymnastics has been firmly established in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, for over three decades. For the second time since 2024, the event took place as part of a World Cup, featuring the new disciplines of mixed synchronised and double mini-trampoline, all within the framework of the traditional ‘Trampoline Open 2026’. The Dutch organisers welcomed athletes from 28 nations, including Olympic and world champions. The DTB sent a squad of ten athletes to Alkmaar:
Wang Zisai (CHN) prevailed over Ivan Litvinovich (AIN) in his first World Cup clash of 2026 in Alkmaar (NED), but the reigning men’s trampoline world champion had to draw on every triple jump in his repertoire to secure victory. Litvinovich was in his usual top form in the Alkmaar final, scoring 65.200 points, but Wang dug deep into his bag of tricks and scored 65.860 points for a routine featuring eight triple jumps (!!) – something that would have been unthinkable in trampoline and tumbling just a few years ago!
And he wasn’t the only one: Yan Langyu (CHN) also performed a routine packed with triple jumps and completed the podium – almost a repeat of the Olympic final in Paris, except that Wang and Litwinowitsch had now swapped places.
The standard of performance was incredibly high for the early-season tournament in Alkmaar, the second of six World Cup competitions scheduled for 2026, and Litvinovich was right in the thick of it. In addition to his silver medal in the individual event, the 24-year-old won gold in both synchronised events, partnering Andrei Builou in the men’s synchronised diving and Kana Lebedeva in the mixed synchronised event.
Lebedeva also secured the women’s title with a high score of 58.510, more than one and a half points ahead of Olympian Anzhela Bladzeva, who scored 57.000.
Bladtseva and Sofiia Aliaeva won the women’s synchronised diving title, beating world champions Mori Hikaru and Tanaka Saki (JPN) by just under half a point.
