2009 WORLD GAMES: Acrobatic Gold medals went to five different nations

On Monday, July 20 the trampoline and acrobatic gymnastics competitions of the 2009 WORLD GAMES in Kaohsiung, started with their first decisions:
<< The USA mixed pair Kristin ALLEN / Michael RODRIGUES (< photo, left) won the gold medal with a score of 28,806, followed by the Belgium pair Julie VAN GELDER / Menno VANDERGHOTE (28,653) and the Brits Katie AXTON / Nicholas ILLINGWORTH on bronze rank. The Belgians grapped gold at the women's pair with Tastana DEVOS / Florence HENRIST...

Acrobatic Gymnastics Symposium Veliky Novgorod

 *fig-press : --  At a round table meeting held parallel to the 2008 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships, the idea to organise a symposium on the development of Acrobatic Gymnastics surfaced during a series of intense discussions.
The idea has now taken shape and a symposium is planned for August 23, 2009 in Veliky Novgorod (RUS) and in conjunction with the second FIG World Cup Series this year.

World Elite at the 6th ACRO CUP 2009 in Germany
From April 17 - 19 takes place the traditional VI. International ACRO CUP of Acrobatic Gymnastics in Albershausen, in the South of Germany, with more than 300 participants, representing 14 different nations.
Among of them are world champions from USA, and Byelorussia, top stars from Russia and England and also aspiring German hosts....

At Saturday a British Men's group from the "Spelthorne Elite Acrobatics" celebrated...

Intern. ACRO Tournament Stars above River

Acrobatic gymnasts from 10 different countries competed at the 18th International Acrobatic Gymnastics Tournament “Stars above the Boug River” in Vinnitsa (UKR) on February 23-28, 2009.

2008 Silver Medallists Tatjana De Vos and Florence Henrist from Belgium ( < photo, left) topped the ranking of the Women’s Pairs competition with a total of 86.613, edging out their competitors from the host country.
The Russian Groups collected Gold in both the Senior Women’s and Men’s categories. ...
