Trampoline World Cup Final 2006: Two times Gold for Canada

At the 8th World Cup Finale Trampoline & Tumbling 2006 in Birmingham/Great Britain won Canada two times Gold:

Gold and the 2006 World Cup Title was won by Canada’s Karen Cockburn, super on form and technique (second Anna Dogonadze from Germany, third Claire Wright from Great Bitain). Also the Canadian pair, Karen Cockburn and Rosannagh MacLennan working the combination of synchro and difficulty perfectly for 47.8 and Gold, second Anna Dogonadze and Jessica Simon (GER), third the Ukrainian Yulia Domchevska and Olena Movchan.
Germany’s Henrik Stehlik and Michael Serth made 49.8 for an intelligent mix of difficulty and form, a great routine for Gold in Synchro Men bevore Tetsuya Sotomura and Yasuhiro Ueyama from Japan.
In Trampoline Men won Yasuhiro Ueyama (JPN) the World Cup Titel with perfect technique and style. Silver for Alexander Rusakov (RUS) and Bronze for Tetsuya Sotomura (JPN).

From 1993 on and this year to the 8th time will held a Trampoline World Cup Final and to the first time Great Britain is the host.
The best eight individual resp. pairs of the trampoline individuals and synchron disciplines but also of tumbling will fight for the titles on Saturday in Birmingham.
These worldwide best athletes are coming from all together 14 nations and so this world cup final is the absolutely "showdown" of this year and the conclusive highlight of the circuit 2005/06....
In all of the diciplines the titleholder of the last final two years ago, the 7th World Cup Final 2004 in Algier are qualified again; only the Russian women's pair with Irina Karavaeva changed, from Kolesnikova to Natalia Chernova.

The qualifiers come from 14 different countries:
Belgium, China, Germany, France, Great Britain, Japan, Canada, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA and Belarus.
