First Grand Prix 2014 of Rhythmic Gymnastics & Qualification Youth Olympic Games

Moscow is hosting the first Grand Prix Event of the year 2014 (finals on Sunday, March 02), followed by the Grand Prix in Thiais (FRA) and the Grand Prix in Holon (ISR) this March and the last of this 2014 circuit one in October, the Berlin Masters (GER).
No fewer than five Russian gymnasts - led by Margarita MAMUN (74,999) - have set at the all-around qualification to the top of the field of 40 gymnasts. Best non-Russian gymnast is the Korean SON, Yeon Jae (69,066) on 6th place ...! On Sunday Russian gymnasts won all of each final gold and silver medals; Mamun reached three, Maria TITOVA one (ribbon) the fourth - overwhelming Russian superiority as ever...!

This multiple event in Moscow at this weekend consists of three competitions:
1- At the first day (Friday, Feb 28) will held the qualification for Youth Olympic Games 2014.
2- On Saturday (March 01) took place the "2014 Gazprom Cup" in honor of the former top-star Alina Kabaeva.
3- On Sunday, March 02 the Grand Prix finals finished these events

2014 Qualification for "Youth Olympic Games 2014"
These is the Continental qualification modus:
- for Europe: Grand Prix Moscow, Russia
- for Event Asia: Asian Championships, Malasia
- for Africa: 12th African Championships, South Africa
- for America: Pan American Championships, USA
- for Oceania: Qualifying Event, New Zealand

** In each event, the best junior groups and the best junior individual gymnasts are qualified.
Groups consist of 5 gymnasts.
