First Rhythmic World Cup of the Circuit 2014

To the 3^rd time the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation organized a World Cup (cat. B) of Rhythmic gymnastics, which took place in Debrecen, March 14 - 16.
It was the first of altogether nine world cup events of this year.
Best gymnast of the Friday's all-around qualification was the Russian Alexandra SOLDATOVA, who scored 70,750 points. On second place came Anna RIZATDINOVA from Ukraine with 70,333 points, followed by Russia's Elizaveta NAZARENKOVA (69,983).
Altogether 30 gymnasts from 17 different countries took part at this first world cup of this season, which will follow one week later by th only on A-Categorie world cup event in Stuttgart, Germany ...

About 2014 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Series

The 2014 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics includes one category A event (Stuttgart/GER) and eight category B events. Except for Corbeil-Essones, which is a competition for individuals only, all tournaments feature Individual and Group competitions.
The All-around medal event also serves as qualification for the apparatus finals.

With stopovers in Europe only, the competitions are slated for

++ April 11 – 13 in Pesaro (ITA),

++ May 9 – 11 in Corbeil-Essonnes (FRA),
++ May 22 – 24 in Tashkent (UZB),
++ May 30 – June 1 in Minsk (BLR),

++ August 9 – 10 in Sofia (BUL) and
++ September 5 – 7 in Kazan (RUS).

The world ranking points collected by the competitors at their best four World Cup events will add up to a total, and the top scorers in each discipline will be crowned winners of the overall series at the final event in Kazan.
