Rhythmic Gymnastics JUNIORS World Championships 2023

From July 07 to 09 the best young rhythmic gymnasts from all over the world will be present in Cluj-Napoca / Romania for the 2nd edition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships. 379 gymnasts from 59 countries have already registered for the event, ready to take the road to performance.
 At the world championship in Cluj-Napoca, Romania enters the competition with 2 gymnasts and an ensemble.
These JWCh'sis happening on a BIG stage: The "BTArena" is the largest indoor venue in Romania, with the capacity to seat 10,000.

* A chance to see a little-known Rhythmic apparatus. Rope, an apparatus that has been retired from senior competition, is still used at the junior level.
* Eight titles are there for the taking. More than 160 individuals and 37 Groups will be in contention for the four apparatus (Hoop, Ball, Clubs, and Ribbon) and three Group (All-Around, 5 Ropes, 5 Balls) gold medals.
* A team competition that takes both individual and Group results into account, will also be held.
* The beauty of Rhythmic, interpreted by gymnasts from nearly 60 nations. Among others: Bolivia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Togo, all showcasing the variety and style of Rhythmic across the world.
* The host country, Romania, achieved in 2022 the historic performance by obtaining the first gold medal in the individual event at the European Junior Championships in Israel, through Amalia Lică. Moreover, the Romanian team returned from Tel Aviv with the team silver medal and the bronze medal won by Christina Drăgan.
