The 2026 Rhythmic GymnasticsWorld Cup series of the International Gymnastics Federation (WG) consists of four events:
The series will kick off in Sofia (BUL; March 28 - 30). This will be followed in April by the two events in Tashkent (UZB; 10–12 April) and Baku (AZE; 17–19 April). The series will conclude in July (10–12) with the World Cup in Milan.
In addition, there are two World Challenge Cups on the annual calendar: in June in Portimao, Portugal (15–17) and in July in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (26–28).
2nd World Cup Rhythmische Gymnastik 2026
- Tashkent / UZB; April 10 - 12
From 10 to 12 April, an exciting showdown is expected in Tashkent (UZB) between the 2024 Olympic champion, Darja Varfolomeev (GER), and the 2025 Asian champion, Takhmina Ikromova (UZB). There are eight titles being contested, with the All-Around champions for both individuals and groups being determined after qualifications on 11 April.
The remaining four individual apparatus titles and two group apparatus titles will be awarded on the final day.
For the groups, a smaller field is registered to compete - 15 compared to 22 in Sofia.
Those appearing in their first World Cup event of the year include Brazil, Kazakhstan, Lithuania and Mexico.

The two favourites shared the gold medals in the apparatus finals:
Uzbekistan’s Takhmina IKROMOVA won the hoop and ball events.
Germany’s Olympic all-around champion Darja VARFOLOMEEV won with the clubs and the ribbon.

1st WORLD CUP Rhythmic Gymnastics 2026
- Sofia / BUL; March 28 - 30 -
Entries have been received from participants in 53 countries for the first World Cup of the season in Sofia. The tournament will take place from 28 to 30 March at Arena 8888. A total of 99 gymnasts will compete in the individual event. Among the participants are athletes from Russia and Belarus, who will compete under a neutral flag and without a national anthem. Bulgaria is expected to face strong competition from China, Italy, Israel, Japan, Spain, France, Brazil, Ukraine and other countries.
In the team competition, 25 teams will compete for medals, including Olympic champions China. The gymnasts coached by Vesela Dimitrova will also face teams from Italy, Spain, France, Israel, Japan, Ukraine and Germany.
According to the programme, the qualifiers for both the individual and team competitions will take place on 28 and 29 March (Saturday and Sunday), with the finals scheduled for 30 March (Monday).
