Pre-Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics
After the pre-Olympic artistic gymnastics and the trampoline gymnastics competitions, the triple serie of the gymnastics disciplines ends now with the Pre-Olympics of Rhythmic gymnastics, which took place from December 5 to 7. The Russian Olga KAPRANOVA won the all-around competition (73,825) in front of Anna BESSONOVA (UKR;70,250) and Aliya GARAEVA (AZE; 69,775).
In group competition, as expected, RUSSIA won the gold (35.075) and ITALY, the silver medals (34.600)...
Groups, All-around

The Group of CHINA won a surprising Bronze medal in the last day of the “Good Luck Beijing” Rhythmic Gymnastics International, putting together a total of 34.050 pts.
Belarus are in fourth, 33.825, Bulgaria in fifth, 33.100, Israel in sixth, 32.550, Ukraine in seventh, 31.950 and Spain in eight place, 31.850.
Eight Groups competed two routines in the Final (one with 5 Ropes and another, with 3 Hoops and 2 pairs of Clubs), scoring starting from the zero.

Individual, All-around

The 2005 All-around Champion Olga Kapranova (RUS) took the Gold medal in the Individual event with a total score of 73.825, followed by Anna Bessonova (UKR), 70.250, Silver and Aliya Garaeva (AZE), 69.775, Bronze.
