Anna Bessonowa (UKR) became the best gymnast of Grand Prix tournament 'Berlin Masters 2003'. She won the finals with hoop and clubs. The best of all around, Alina Kabaeva (RUS), won the final with ribbon with a nice adaption of 'Carmen'. Simona Peycheva from Bulgaria, World Champion with ball, won the Grand Prix final with ball - she got the highest score (28,250) of all finales.
About 2000 spectators saw the final competitions in the 'Max-Schmeling-Halle' , eight...

Svetlana Putintseva(RUS) won the first competition of Berlin Masters 2003 before Mary Sanders (USA) and Valeria Kurylskaya (BLR).
For the Grand Prix all around on Saturday are qualified: Mary Sanders (USA), Theodora Pallidou (GRE), Yukari Murata (JPN) , Ketevan Bakuradze (GEO), Dominika Cervenkova und Katerina Kopaceva (beide CZE).

Rhythmic Gymnastics

Irina Tchachina (RUS) was the best gymnast of 20th International Tournament of Prato (ITA). She won the all around before Susanna Marchesi (ITA) and Sylvia Mieteva (BUL). Evgenia Kanaeva from Russia won the junior competition.

Sukran Tasyuran (TUR) won the senior all around of the 12th International tournament in Izmir (TUR). Anastassia Tchivil (RUS) got 2nd place, Berfin Sutcu (TUR) became 3rd. Irina Gorodova (RUS) was the best of the junior competition.

The best gymnasts of 2003 Czech RG National Championship are from Ceske Budejovice, they won all-around medals. The National Championship is, as last year, Katerina Kopacova (18), second Dominika Cervenkova (15) and third Eva Pavelkova (15)....

Vera Sesina (RUS) was the best gymnast of 3rd Grand Prix tournament of 2003 series in Holon (ISR) on weekend.
She won the all around (qualification) and the finals with hoop and clubs. Anna Bessonova was the best with ball, Tamara Yeroveeva (both UKR) won the final with ribbon. Natalia Godunko (UKR) and Svetlana Rudalova (BLR) won the aother final medals.
The next Grand Prix tournament will take place in Berlin from 27th to 29th June...
