Although Azerbaijan's capital Baku has already hosted four World Gymnastics Championships in the last three years, but this the very first time that a World Championship in Acrobatic Gymnastics take place here. 30th Europeans of Acrobatic Gymnastics 2021

The deadline for Federations to nominate their participants for the upcoming Europeans has now passed.

Holon will stage the 2024 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships

LAUSANNE (SUI) - The 2024 Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships will take place in Israel, in the city of Holon. The FIG Council has chosen by email vote to entrust the Israel Gymnastics Federation with hosting the 29th edition of this event. The World Championships will be run in May 2024 at the Holon Toto Arena, a sport and entertainment venue inaugurated in 2015 in Peres park. The Championships will be preceded by the World Age Group Competitions.

FIG supports The World Games postponement to July 2022

* fig -press--: The FIG welcomes the decision of the International World Games Association (IWGA) to hold The World Games in Birmingham, United States, in July 2022 instead of 2021. Following the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the IWGA and the Birmingham Organising Committee have agreed to reschedule the 11th edition of The World Games, which will now take place from 07 to 17 July 2022. ► WORLD GAMES 2022
