Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) - host of the 2021 Trampoline Worlds -  started in the 2022 season of international competitions with the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics. The participation of 63 gymnasts from 14 countries is expected in the competition to be held at the National Gymnastics Arena of the capital Baku on February 12 & 13.

2012 and 2016 Olympic champion Rosannagh MacLennan (CAN) has been elected as the FIG Athletes’ Commission representative for Trampoline Gymnastics through 2025. MacLennan, 33, obtained 20 votes from her athlete peers in an election held the day before the 35th Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships open in Baku (AZE). Four-time Olympic medallist Dong Dong (CHN), the only other candidate, received 11.
