The International Gymnastics Federation FIG
announced, that the host of the coming world cup final of artistic
gymnastics, the German city Stuttgart, will alsobe the host of the
rhythmic gymnastics world cup final, too, at the same date, November
30th / December 1st this year.
It was the special wish of FIG, because the German city Duesseldorf
cancelled their engagement, recently.
Stuttgart is also the host of world championships in 2007 and one of the
German candidates for the 2012 Olympic Games...

World Cup Final im Doppelpack

Neben dem schon lange feststehenden
Weltcup-Finale im Turnen wird am 30. November und 1. Dezember beim
DTB-Pokal in der Stuttgarter Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle auch die
Entscheidung im Weltcup der Rhythmischen Sportgymnastik fallen. Nach
der Absage Düsseldorfs (Nordrhein- Westfalen) sprang kurzfristig die Schwäbische
Landeshauptstadt, 1989 bereits Gastgeber der Turn-WM und 1992 der
Gymnastik-EM als Wunschkandidat der FIG in die Bresche.
2007 wird Stuttgart erneut Gastgeber der Turn-Weltmeisterschaften
sein. Damit wird diese Top-Veranstaltung mit den weltbesten Turner/innen
und Gymnastinnen auch ein wichtiger Schritt bei der Stuttgarter Bewerbung
für die Olympischen Spiele 2012. (>> FIG

Today
the both Russian rhythmic gymnastics stars Alina Kabaeva and Irina
Tchachina will arrive at the airport of Berlin, to take part at the II:
Berlin World Cup in the Max Schmeling Hall.
It will be the first start, but
the procedure is in present time still in progress, since both gymnasts
appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) in June this year.

werden in Berlin zum II. Berlin-Worldcup auch die beiden wegen
Dopingvergehens gesperrten russischen Gymnastinnen Alina Kabajewa und
Irina Tschaschtschina erwartet. Ihre Dopingsperre ist durch einen
Einspruch beim Sportgerichtshof CAS in Lausanne im Juni ausgesetzt
worden.

Berlin, in the establishment of Daimler Benz, "Mercedes
World", on the Salzufer on 11 a.m, local
time.
Star guest was the current German Champion Annika Rekek from TSV
BAYER 04 Leverkusen.

The
world elite of Rhythmic Gymnastics announced the participation for
Berlin World Cup 2002, a tournament of the Grand Prix series on 7th and
8th September. The two Russians Alina Kabaeva and Irina Tchachina will
come to their first international tournament after the Doping barrier.
Also the World Champions Tamara Yerofeeva (UKR) and Simona Peycheva (BUL)
will take part in the tournament of Berlin as well as Zarina Gisikova (RUS)
leading in two Grand Prix ranking lists. Alltogether 23 countries send
their best rhythmic gymnasts to Berlin.

Für
den Berlin World Cup 2002 in der Rhythmischen Sportgymnastik am
nächsten Wochenende - einem
Turnier der Grand Prix Serie - hat sich die gesamte Weltelite angesagt.
Die beiden Russinnen Alina Kabajewa und Irina Tschaschina werden am 07.
und 08. September nach knapp einjähriger Doping-Sperre in Berlin ihr
erstes internationales Turnier bestreiten. In Berlin mit dabei sind auch
die Weltmeisterinnen Tamara Jerofejewa (Ukraine) und Simona Peitschewa
(Bulgarien) sowie die in zwei Ranglisten führende Sarina Gisikowa (RUS).
Insgesamt entsenden 23 Länder ihre besten Gymnastinnen nach Berlin.

The
world elite of Rhythmic Gymnastics announced the participation for
Berlin World Cup 2002, a tournament of the Grand Prix series on 7th and
8th September. Participants from 25 countries will take part in this 4th
tournament of Grand Prix series 2002.
From Germany, Olga Lukjanov (11th of Grand Prix ranking rope) will take
part in this tournament. She took part in a training camp in Kienbaum
near Berlin and she did a good job for her preparation.

die britische Fotoreporterin Eileen Langsley als offizielle FIG-Fotografin für den
Turnweltverband tätig und profilierte sich zu einer weltbekannten
Bildästhetin für die Gymnastics- Disziplinen. Jetzt beendete sie diese
Arbeit für die FIG. Ab sofort ist GYMmedia-Mitarbeiter Volker Minkus aus
Hannover offizieller FIG-Fotograf und berichtet erstmals in dieser
Funktion von den bevorstehenden Sport Aerobic- Weltmeisterschaften aus

From July, the 12th to 14th Rhythmic
Group World Championships will take place in New Orleans (USA). The most of 22 groups
arrived on Sunday. The last Group World Champs took
place in 1998 in Sevilla (ESP). Russia is the titleholder, the-
Olympic Champion in 2000 and also the European Champion 2001.
Tamara Erofeeva and Anna Bessonova are also members of the the Ukrainian group
in New Orleans!

Vom 12. bis 14. Juli findet in New Orleans
(USA) die Gruppen-Weltmeisterschaft 2002 statt. Bereits am Sonntag waren
die Gruppen angereist, um sich vor Ort auf die Wettkämpfe
vorzubereiten. Die letzte Gruppen-WM hatte 1998 in Sevilla (ESP)
stattgefunden.
Gestern fand das erste Podiumstraining statt. Das deutsche Team hat gut
trainiert und ist bester Stimmung. Die Ukraine hat sich mit ihren beiden
Stars Jerofejewa und Bessonowa verstärkt.

In Tokyo took place the NHK Cup of the
Japanese Gymnastics Association in Rhythmic Gymnastics. The winner was
Yukari Murata from Tokio with 93,55 points, followed by Yachiyo Nakamura
and Ai Yokochi (both from Aeon Club).

Gymnastin Irina Tschaschina bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2001 in Madrid ist
positiv. Damit ist Tschaschina nach dem Doping-Vergehen bei den Goodwill

On Saturday the group competition between the national groups of Russia,
Spain and Germany took place in Cuenza (ESP). Russia as the favourit won
before Spain and Germany.
It was important for the groups regarding the world championships in five
weeks in New Orleans (USA) to test their present performance level. Russia
is the favourite for the World Champion - that s clear after this
competition.

Einen Dreiländerkampf in der Gruppengymnastik in Cuenza (ESP) gewann
erwartungsgemäß Russland vor Spanien und Deutschland. Beim
Aufeinandertreffen der Gruppen-Nationalmannschaften ging es am Samstag um
die Standortbestimmung fünf Wochen vor den Gruppen-WM in New Orleans
(USA). Das deutsche Team zeigte sich gegenüber den Deutschen
Meisterschaften stark verbessert.
