Anna Bessonova(UKR) was the top gymnast of the 21st Annual 'L.A. Lights Rhythmic Internationa`' last weekend in Culver City/California, USA.
The Vice World Champion of 2003 scored 108.90 to defeat runner-up Inna Zhukova (BLR), who placed fourth all-around at the 2003 Worlds, came on second place. Israel's Irina Risenson won the bronze medal. Bessonova, the top favourite for Olympic gold in Athens this year, was also winner of all apparatus finals.

The RG Center 'Rhythmic Dreams will host the Second Annual Boston Invitational at the field house at Newton South High School on Feb. 21-22.
In addition to top U.S. athletes, rhythmic gymnasts from Canada, Argentina, Romania, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic will also attend this USA Gymnastics Federation-sanctioned event, including Argentine national champion and likely Olympic contender Anahi Sosa, and Anna Pobokova, Dutch national champion and one of Europe's rising stars in the sport....

Anna Bessonova (UKR) is the best gymnast of the 2003 Grand Prix series in Rhythmic Gymnastics. With the last Grand Prix tournament 2003 in Innsbruck she won the series, to which altogether eight tournaments belonged. She became winner with the apparatuses hoop, ball and clubs and received the respective 'Winners Prize' to ever 2,500 euro. The victory with ribbon went at Vera Sesina of Russia.

The German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) inform that the federation in co-operation with Rhenania Gymnastics Federation (RTB) and the World Games 2005 GmbH are planning to organize a Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Competition on May 21/23 2004 in Duisburg, the Host City of the World Games 2005.
They hope that the FIG will accept this competition as a World Series Competition.
