2009 Vitaly Scherbo Cup

The all-around winner of the 2009 "Vitaly Scherbo Cup" in the Byelorussian capital Minsk were the Olympian Anton Fokin from Uzbekistan and on women's side the 14-years old Galina Ivanets from host Belarus, the winner of the this year's Stella Zacharova Cup.
Among the international guests from France, Canada and Switzerland specially the Swiss men leave a good mark, so Roman Gisi on third in all-around and Roland Häuptli , who won the floor exercises and ranked second on high bar. This competition is named in honor of Vitaly Scherbo, a Minsk native, who won six Olympic gold medals at the Olympic Games in Barcelona (1992) with the last Soviet team of history. He is leaving and working now in his own Gym in Las Vegas....
