PREVIEW: ŠIŠKA Gym International Tournament 2005

The upcoming weekend on Saturday (qualifications) and Sunday (finals) will be held the 9th ŠIŠKA Gym International' tournament.
This artistic gymnastics event is organised by a club with the same name, 'ŠIŠKA GIM CLUB', which is located in the old town of Ljubljana.

The large mouse is the mascot of the ŠIŠKA GIM Club. Miska, like it's called in Slovenia, is well loved by everyone!

Starting in 1996, in the beginning this competition attracted young, unexperienced gymnasts from non-powerhouse gymnastics countries. Often it is their very first international event and sometimes maybe a start into an international top career... like Yevgenia Kusnetzova, Siska winner 2000

The first guests of the 2005 tournament, like the Canadian delegation, already arrived in Ljubljana.
