Pan Am Games Conclude in Rio de Janeiro

Brazil and the U.S. won four golds each in the apparatus finals at the Pan Am Games, held Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Team decision of the artistic gymnastics events ended with a surprising gold medal, won by the men's team of  Puerto Rico. in front of host Brazil. On Sunday
Jose Luis FUENTES from Venezuela earned gold in the all-around final as the only one gymnast who scored more than 90 points.
On the women's side the USA team won in front of Brazil and- after a disqualification Canada, instead  Mexico and on Monday the US girls edged a triple success at the all-around competition with Shawn JOHNSON on top.....

The USA won all of the three medals in the artistic gymnastics women’s individual all-around competition.
Shawn Johnson got the gold medal, after having scored 61.725 points. Rebecca Bross won the silver medal and scored 61.050 points and Ivana Hong, won the bronze one, with 59.375 points.
When the Brazilian gymnast, Jade Barbosa started the last routine she was already first place, but the Brazilian ended up in fourth and did not win any medals (59.325 points). Jade was the athlete who scored the most points in the vault competition(15.850), but she fell down during her uneven bars routine, which caused her to lose points and have a low final score.
